1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lilacs.ai (the "Service"), operated by MITHRA RESEARCH LTD ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Lilacs.ai.
2. Description of the Service
Lilacs.ai is an AI-powered conversational and roleplay platform that allows users to:
- Create AI characters ("Bots")
- Upload avatars or images
- Interact with AI-generated responses
- Message other users
- Enable optional NSFW functionality
The Service is provided for entertainment and creative purposes only.
AI-generated responses are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, fictional, or unpredictable.
The Service may include experimental or evolving AI systems. Features, functionality, and outputs may change at any time.
The Service does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
3. Emotional Interaction Disclaimer
Lilacs.ai is designed as a creative conversational platform. While interactions may feel engaging or personal, responses are generated by automated systems and do not originate from real individuals.
The Service is not intended to replace real-world relationships, therapy, companionship, or professional support.
Users are responsible for how they interpret and rely upon AI-generated interactions.
If you are experiencing emotional distress or mental health concerns, you should seek support from qualified professionals.
4. User Accounts
Accounts are created using Apple Sign In.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity conducted under your account
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms or to protect the safety and integrity of the Service.
5. User Content
Users may create Bots, upload avatars or images, and send messages ("User Content").
User Content includes text, images, avatars, and any materials submitted through the Service.
You retain ownership of content you create.
By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and moderate such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload or create.
We are not obligated to monitor User Content, but we reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict content at our sole discretion.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Upload images of real individuals without consent
- Create Bots impersonating identifiable real people
- Upload illegal, exploitative, or abusive imagery
- Create sexually explicit content involving minors
- Create non-consensual sexual content
- Harass or abuse other users
- Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract data from the Service
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.
7. Copyright
If you believe content infringes your rights, you may contact us here:

We will review and remove infringing content where appropriate.
Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
8. Messaging and Moderation
Messages and Bot interactions are stored on Company servers.
We may access, review, or moderate content where necessary to:
- Enforce these Terms
- Maintain platform safety
- Prevent abuse or fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
Lilacs.ai does not provide end-to-end encrypted messaging. Users should not assume absolute privacy.
9. NSFW Content
Lilacs.ai offers optional 18+ NSFW functionality.
To enable NSFW access, users must:
- Confirm their date of birth
- Confirm they are at least 18 years old
- Re-accept these Terms
- Manually enable the feature
Users are responsible for providing truthful age information.
NSFW content involving minors, non-consensual content, or real-person impersonation is strictly prohibited.
We may disable NSFW access at our sole discretion.
10. Subscriptions and Refunds
Lilacs.ai may offer subscription-based features.
Subscriptions:
- Automatically renew unless cancelled
- Are managed through the Apple App Store
- Are subject to Apple's billing policies
Refunds: Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple. Refund eligibility and processing are determined by Apple in accordance with its policies. Except where required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds for App Store purchases.
We may modify pricing, features, or availability at any time.
We do not guarantee the continued availability of any specific Bot or feature.
11. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time.
Upon deletion:
- Account information and User Content (including Bots) will be removed from active systems
- Backup copies may persist temporarily before automatic deletion
- Limited data may be retained if legally required
Users may request access to their personal data.
12. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MITHRA RESEARCH LTD from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Content you create or upload
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
16. Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve disputes informally.
17. Assignment
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
Users may not assign their rights without written consent.
18. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MITHRA RESEARCH LTD regarding the Service.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
22. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
